Snatam Kaur is more than just a concert!

Healing through music is one of the most ancient techniques for wellbeing. The origins of music therapy reach as far as 2,000 years BC and can be tracked in India and Mesopotamia.

Snatam Kaur studied for over 30 years with the renowned spiritual master Yogi Bhajan in India, directly at the places, where music therapy originated from. Here she had an access to learn healing mantras combined with spiritual music. Her concerts are not only one-of-its-kind artistic experience but are literally a music therapy.

Snatam Kaur about mantras:

„Mantra singing is a beautiful way to go inside. It is like a habit of going inside and searching for love, ideas, courage and hope...which can never be found outside. You can look at it as something that we all do. Mantra will give you something, which nobody can take away from you. It is a connection of the heart, body and soul. During our concerts, you will learn how to transform the feeling and the energy of mantra into a tool, which you are able to use for the rest of your life. The concert is an opportunity to open the listeners´ hearts towards mantras. To fall in love with mantras and experience them in their purest form. I believe that through these concerts, I can connect to people and enable them to feel the light and love. And this is especially important these days, given all the political and environmental challenges we are facing.“

Snatam Kaur released over 20 studio albums and has received the Grammy awards in the New Age Music category. On the top of her music, she also facilitates workshops, courses and retreats focused on Kundaliny yoga and chanting and she has published a book Original light.
